Who We Are

Cleveland Road Baptist Church is an Evangelical Southern Baptist Church on the outskirts of Athens, GA, whose mission is to know Jesus Christ and make Him known. We long to see individuals and families transformed as we learn to increasingly submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We value family and friendship; when you walk into the door at CRBC, expect to be greeted and warmly welcomed. We want you to feel at home here.

At CRBC you can expect to hear expository, verse-by-verse preaching and teaching. We believe that we have absolutely nothing to say to this world that doesn’t originate with the Word of God. We want to see Christ exalted and people’s hearts regenerated through the Spirit of God, who we believe is actively working to bring revival to the Bogart and West Athens communities. We invite you to join us and be a part of what God is doing in our community.

Our vision is to lead CRBC to be a multi-cultural, multi-generational congregation that exudes a spirit of unity, love, and devotion to Jesus Christ. We long to see men and women, boys and girls, teens and young adults come to CRBC and become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, completely given over to His Lordship in their lives. Additionally, we want our church to look like the Acts 2 Church, enjoying our time together, worshiping in Spirit and Truth, and sharing with one another according to our abundance and others’ needs.

CRBC regularly prays for and supports other local, national, and international ministries, such as Penfield Christian Homes, Wycliffe, Voice of the Martyrs, 9Marks, The Gospel Coalition, and several missionaries who are connected to our church.
